The Thaw Continues and Patty goes on WPKN 89.5

Greetings Friends,

I created this blog to share the gift of live music, to lift the heart and feed the soul.

I will be in the studios of WPKN 89.5 this afternoon recording my first Boogie Report that will be broadcast weekly.

I hope you all will support me and listen. I'm not sure when you will hear me yet but just listen anyway, there's alot of great stuff going on.

Ironically, there's not much going on this weekend but I will be introducing myself to my audience and talking about my passion for music.

I will update you all after today. I hope I won't be nervous since I haven't been behind the mic in a few years! Let's make this fun!

Another great option is John Lamb and All-The-Above Band. I've known John for many years and he is a multi-talented and original talent. Go have a burger and check him out! Kenny Owen's will be playing and he's Jose Feliciano's bass player!! Rub elbows with the stars!

That was just a warm up to Saturday Night my people!

Again and always let me recommend Mystic Bowie. Is there anything more comforting than Reggae in January?

I've been dying to see this band, Pimpinella! Not since we went to see Deep Banana Blackout every single weekend has there been a funk band to love!

Pimpinella Live
Rowley's Tavern

Here is something extra and extra special. A benefit for WPKN Radio at Pequot Library. There will be some very accomplished musicians there including Mark Naftalin, formerly with Paul Butterfield Blues Band on keyboards and the one, the only Chance Browne on guitar. On drums, Barry Urich along with a few other great players.

Put on your dancin shoes people!!

Peace,
