We're Havin' a Heatwave!

Greetings Boogiers!

Tonight, Friday February 19 Rock with "The Quake" at the Georgetown Saloon. The Quake features guitar god David Webster, who has recorded with Bob Dylan and played with Chuck Berry. It's really amazing how much talent is right here in Connecticut.

Since some of my favorite musicians are touring, I will also give you the updates. Caravan of Thieves, featuring the great Fuzz Fuzzman of Deep Banana Blackout fame, appear live at Milk Boy Coffee in Ardmore, PA. I'll keep you informed of their travels.

This Sunday, February 21, there will be a day of music at Route 22 in Stamford CT. It's a Red Cross Relief Benefit Concert for Haiti. 9 local bands will be performing live. You can support your local artists and feel really good about it.

Friday February 26 is going to be a great night at Sabrosura Restaurant in Danbury CT
Strawberry Brown, my favorite band of the moment, will be performing live.
This band is intoxicating! Dreamy vocals by Karen Johnstone backed up by some of the area's finest musicians including, Tim DeHuff! You will feel like you have arrived on an exotic island and trust me, you won't believe you are in Danbury.

On Saturday night, February 27 come to Two Boots in Bridgeport to see Eliot Lewis.
An artist of his caliber in a local club is a gift Boogiers. I saw him with AWB and he knocked me out! He has played with Hall & Oates, Smokey Robinson and Todd Rundgren and he delivers the goods!

Moving ahead to March... John Lamb, a talented songwriter and musician will be performing his new original music and some old stuff too on March 16 at the Fairfield Theatre Company in Fairfield, CT.

There will be alot more to report Boogiers. Stay Tuned!

Peace and Don't forget to Boogie!
